AT&T Mobility Names 2009 Atlanta Telecom Professional of the Year
ATLANTA – November 11, 2009– The Atlanta Telecom Professionals (ATP), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the continued professional development and network growth of Atlanta's telecommunications community, presented Glenn Lurie, President, Emerging Devices, Resale and Partnerships, AT&T Mobility,the 2009 Atlanta Telecom Professional of the Year award.
“I am extremely grateful for this distinct honor that I share with the entire AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets team,” Lurie said. “In the past year my team has been charged with identifying new, emerging devices to connect to the AT&T wireless network and we’ve made tremendous progress. Today, we have several new products powered by our network, including netbooks, eReaders, and personal navigation devices. It is a real privilege to be honored amongst this very distinguished group of individuals.”
